From March 2006 to August of 2008, I was a part of Pearson’s Custom Media team. The team helped provide custom, interactive solutions to colleges and universities across the United States. Some of the custom solutions included websites, eBooks, online courses, videos and animations. I was brought on the team as a web designer and I was responsible for crafting the user experience for each custom course, from start to finish. This included the planning, the design, the development, the testing and the launch of each course. After doing this successfully, I was then asked to lead a small team (3-5) of web designers that each produced anywhere from 50 – 100 custom courses per semester.
